Bassist Nick Panoutsos has become an increasingly prominent voice in the Bay Area jazz scene, with a rapidly growing freelance career in New York. His quartet features a mix of original music and re-imagined arrangements of jazz standards, drawing inspiration from the post-bop era of the 1960s.
Playing originals and standards for the first set, bring your horns to jam for the second set! Hope to see you there for this week's installment of the one and only Grove Place Jazz Project.
